I'm a dad of two, a husband, a scientist, a teacher, and perhaps a Buddhist.
In nature and science I trust.

I apologise for mixing British and American English.

@DaiseeC I am an assistant professor and it is the same :-)
@IanThistlethwaite @3goodthings @3goodthings @[email protected] You use the word "Mastodon" as a verb? :-)

#ThreeGoodThings #3goodthings Last month's summary:

1. Last week I sat alone in the forest for an hour. I quietly watched and listened to everything around me, and at moments I felt like I was part of the forest itself (the photo shows my view),

2. We're starting to worry that our son may have ADHD/autism/some kind of perception disorder. But we managed to get appointments with a neurologist and for ergotherapy,

3. My student defended his bachelor's thesis with the highest grade.

@t0ha Hi. I tried it, but after hitting the Start bot button, nothing happens. Is it because I do not have a Telegram account?

@middleclasstool This is so wrong.

I like it.

@maxelcat ...and doomscrolling and watching cat videos. The only thing that can save me now is probably drinking 10 beers and drifting off into unconsciousness.
But then the problem will be getting up in the morning 😀
@plsik As in many other cases, the poorest regions (which are often forgotten) and the most vulnerable people (who are the hardest to help) will probably be affected the most...
@maxelcat We have 20 degrees at 23:40. I've been working until now, and I also had a late coffee earlier. Multiple reasons not to fall asleep. Wonderful!
@wyantyan That's the mindset I need to adopt. And I mustn't let my agressive competitiveness spill over onto the kids. Thanks for the reminder, I needed that.
Just have to remind myself that I don't have to compete with others when it comes to things that I like. I can just like them, like to do them. I don't need to become an expert in that field, I don't have to compete with others who may also like that which I like. I don't need to be better than others.
