Some wake up to the soft cooing of turtle doves, others to the screeching of city ambulances. Me, I'm mostly woken by my cat jumping on the bed.
Luckily he's easily distracted, so I pet him till he's had enough, and then he moves off in a how-do-you-dare-touch-me huff, so I can close my eyes again for, oh, at least five minutes, before he changes his tiny mind again.
