More #streetphotography - the famous gate in Kabukicho, Tokyo. This week’s been quite exciting so far, getting things into gear ready for finishing my job and starting freelancing in May. I was lucky enough to score 3 free career coaching sessions with an amazing coach who specialises in helping women set up their own businesses, visited a coworking space, got some good responses from recruiters and potential clients, and have made the final arrangements to attend OFFF in Barcelona in May. That’s not to say it’s all been fun and games, I’ve been plagued with late nights of self-doubt and a few moments of panic. I’ve found the I Ching to be a very helpful tool however. In the words of the hosts of the podcast Weird Studies, it works whether you believe in it or not. I don’t consider it to be receiving wisdom from a higher power in any spiritual sense, but rather its timeless practical good advice and reminder of our place in nature, and the tendency towards balance, is very reassuring.
