i didn't know that the @internetarchive runs a search service just for research papers:
a bit of ego searching did not disappoint and brought all web-accessible PDFs via the wonderful #waybackmachine. what i really appreciate is that the interface exposes the DOIs!
the corpus might not be on par with Google Scholar yet, but it's good to have free and open alternatives in case someone in Mountain View gets into sunsetting mood…
Frontex pays 7.500€ on average for each person deported.
More than every tenth person from the dataset we analysed is deported to Nigeria, for which they spend even 25.000€ per person on average 🤯
