"trust the process" i whisper as i make a complete and utter mess of things

"About one third of the relevant studies found a measurable impact of climate change on the investigated alpine mass movement processes (with the exception of large rock avalanches)"

I will not be completing this survey and would encourage everyone else to do likewise. These opinions are converted into so called measurements of university performance in the THE World University Rankings - a ridiculous and damaging exercise for the sector.

Goodbye old friend - wish you would've told us you were in such trouble you needed to do this, of all things.

Guten Morgen!

In Oulu, #Finland, temperatures will be down to -20 C this week.

Yet 12% of all journeys in the city will be by bicycle.

How do they do it? Good wayfinding for starters, with symbols projected onto the snow...❄️ 🚲 🧵

If you want to read about the potential I see in #Fediverse for #HigherEducation, you can find my „Fedi-Vision“ on my blog https://davidlohner.de/2023/07/a-fedi-vision/

Open infrastructures are what strong democratic institutions such as educational and research institutions need. The Fediverse offers exactly that with the added benefit of networking with each other.

Perhaps this petition can also serve as inspiration for you to make a difference at your own place of work. Good luck to us all!
