- Policy
- Financing
- Continuity

In other words, political will is the only thing preventing cheaper electricity costs.

1) Fixing the voting system; by using approval or STAR voting methods. Plurality is the problem in the USA, and Ranked-Choice (RCV/IRV) only hides plurality behind complexity.

2) Demanding candidates support long-term energy planning programs.

These two goals must be achieved to sustain any country. Without a way to accurately gauge support, we can't promote long-term thinking in government.

After a few years of seeing exactly the same myths about nuclear energy tossed around by solar fanatics, I think the Simpsons is actually where a lot of these people got their ideas about nuclear from.

It's really so sad how many people just spread myths about nuclear energy instead of researching why it is actually a clean and safe way to generate electricity.

It's good to remember that thermal plants can get more efficient as turbine technology improves.

You can change a few large turbines at a nuclear plant to gain significant amounts of electricity later in the plant's lifetime.

Solar PV plants can't do this!

Every decade or so, the PV panels and all the inverters needed to convert DC to AC must be replaced to maintain the efficiency it has at the beginning.

Solar decays over time, nuclear tends to become more efficient.
