I've watched quite a few videos from this guy, he's actually a really good science communicator - but for the past few months it seems like half his output is praising the blessings of nuclear power 🤔

Far as I can tell he's still basically scientifically accurate, but about half his videos being either directly or obliquely about how great nuclear power is, that seems like a lot to me...

Kyle Hill posted a short with that claim that T1D was cured in a patient who received beta cell islets from her own stem cells.

He leaves out the part where she’s on immunosuppressants.

T1D is an autoimmune disease. Almost all T1D I’ve encountered don’t consider any “cure” requiring immunosuppressants to be an actual cure.

Is it cool? Sure. But check out what Vertex is doing with encapsulated beta cell islets. That’s way more promising.
