Candice Black is a Creative from South Wales, UK. Her poetry explores female identity, anger, love, regret, and the healing power of nature. As a mixed race, disabled, female poet: her poetry has developed with thanks to a creative writing group based at a local mental health charity. Poetry has allowed Black to express turmoil, her love of nature, and difficult experiences. Lavender: Collected Poems will take you on a journey through the landscape of Black's poetic expression over the last five years.
