Modern context, #MAGA are posting “your body, my choice” memes, and women are responding by stitching in themselves pouring a vial of clear liquid into a glass and saying MATGA.
Naturally, the right wing immediately demanded the fbi hunt these women down as terrorists. Because maga are #bullies, and like all bullies, crumble when faced with even the slightest hint that they may face repercussions.

They said they'd be happy to pick up where we left off if I changed my mind.
I'm sharing this not to brag, but because it was a lovely reminder that even though most of the companies I applied with didn't think I was what they wanted, there are companies out there that want exactly who I am and what I have to offer.
I brought my true self to every interview and eventually found a great match (or 2).
I hope my story brings hope to everyone out there who finds themselves in this situation.

However, when I contacted the other companies to cancel my upcoming interviews next week, one of them phoned back and asked if I'd reconsider and go ahead with the interview anyway because it was "rare to get so much positive feedback" for a candidate.
I apologised and told them I'd already accepted the other offer and signed the contract. I thanked them for their time and the kind words and told them I'd keep them in mind if my situation ever changes.

I've finally taken down the green banner on my LinkedIn profile because I've landed an exciting new job that I start at the beginning of December.
It's taken 6 months and over 460 applications to get here and, as you can imagine, there's been a lot of rejection along the way.
