Glencore (Fonderie Horne) a encore réussi à faire fléchir la CrAQ et Le Maire de Rouyn-Noranda...
Toujours des menaces et toujours du léchage de fessier en coulisse.....

Devant une foule de citoyens, le conseil municipal de Rouyn-Noranda s'est rangé en faveur de la proposition du gouvernement du Québec d'accorder à Glencore sept ans de prévisibilité réglementaire et 18 mois supplémentaires pour abaisser ses émissions à 15 nanogrammes d’arsenic par mètre cube d’air (ng/m3) en échange d'investissements dans la Fonderie.

Si ces paramètres sont officialisés dans le cadre d’une entente entre Québec et Glencore, l’atteinte de la cible de 15 ng/m3 serait repoussée à 2030, a confirmé le maire de Rouyn-Noranda, Gilles Chapadeau.

Ce seuil demeurerait ensuite en place jusqu’en 2033, dans 7 ans.
