One thing that never seems to come up in discussions about raising the retirement age is ageism. Does anyone seriously think that workers over 50 - never mind 60 or 70 - are going to be able to successfully compete for jobs against the younger generation? I can assure you that as a 60 yo grey, even getting your foot in the door is tough. Are we all going.to compete for jobs as Walmart greeters?Will we all just collect meager unemployment that won't cover the cost of insurance until we "age in"?

So, about those hearings the House majority want to hold on the 'Weaponization of the government against the people'...... Do they plan to include the infiltration/corruption of the FBI by Russian oligarchs.... or the infiltration of the military and law enforcement by the Proud Boys/Oathkeepers? What about the effects of dark money on politics - do they plan to hold hearings on the corrosive effects of Citizens United?
