Just going through the process of moving my phone from POTS to digital because of the great phone system switch off. I'm assuming someone (let's call them BT) will bollox it up somehow. 🤣 My ISP (Zen - competent) are sending a new router I can plug my existing analog phone into but it will be going straight into spares cupboard because it doesn't do all the weird stuff I do with my Linux router. 😂

If anyone wants to recruit a senior R&D code monkey with multiple degrees for a job that will involve neither "AI" bullshit nor "blockchain" bullshit nor "HFT" bullshit nor killing people nor destroying the planet just for the heck of it...

I get cheaper and cheaper by the minute as things descend deeper and deeper into nutty "More cloud and more AI will fix it!!" chaos around me.

Located in Germany. Will only work remote as we're tied to this place due to aging parental units. Strong preference for something related to actual green technology such as solar.

@nigenet They're one of my all time WOMAD highlights! 😁 Very excited to be seeing them again especially in super cool and intimate Jazz Cafe!
Was pleased with additions of Emma-Jean Thackray, Say She She, and Yasmin Hamdan to the line-up.
Sent them another email about shuttle buses but not holding out much hope for a reply.

@nigenet HIYA! Did you see the brilliant Saigon Soul Revival at WOMAD a couple of years ago? They're touring UK in October. I just got a ticket for London. They're ace and well worth seeing if around your way.
