@anirvan I did not know this. But then again, it’s not a topic I follow, having not followed education for a while now. Maybe I should pick that back up!
@toddo there are a few I’m thinking of in particular lol.
@toddo Glad it helped. I understand more about it every day.
@toddo the sad thing is it’s for a photo caption. Lol. I’m spending time obsessing over this one detail. I blame ADHD. Lol. I snapped out of it after 3 hours. I used “the epic”. Wording culturally informative sentences isn’t easy. There is much nuance. And being from the culture I’m documenting visually causes me to reflect on this constantly.
@toddo yeah, that makes sense to people within an educational context which is what I normally use, but to those reading “the Epic Ramayana” without any knowledge, your random viewer, will they understand that it’s a work of literature?
When referring to the Ramayana, does it make more sense to call it just epic, or an epic book, epic work of literature, epic classic. I’m likely perseverating too much on this. But how best to refer to it for those unfamiliar? #writing #india
I have a feasible holiday wish. It is for writers to stop using the word dopamine in their essays so casually. They do not understand the complexity of that word let alone how it functions and having it tossed like confetti is a shaft to the heart every time. #Parkinsons
An early day tomorrow, yet sleep does not come. Medication swallowed, yet sleep does not come. The mind bursts with ideas, races with creativity. Sleep does not come. The eyes are dry, rough and strained, the body shakes, lips tremble. Sweet sleep, come soon. #Parkinsons #ADHD
Women with Parkinson’s or female caregivers, submit your story! The Women’s Parkinson’s Project is looking for glimpses into a day in the life of women with PD. Any language is fine, but English translation must also be submitted. Link to Submit: https://rb.gy/prjfh4.

@Richard_Littler usually the study refers to people on certain ADHD meds although it’s not clear to me that age, gender and young onset information is neatly delineated. That said I’m 8-10 years into physical PD symptoms, and only recently diagnosed with ADHD, after pursuing that loosely for a few years. Symptoms were there since I was young. A huge relief to me, the diagnosis. It has pros and cons.
