Here’s my super secure Apple road warrior configuration:
📡 iPhone 17 Pro personal hotspot
⛓️ iPad Air connected to the hotspot (no public WiFi)
🔐 Tailscale connection to my home LAN using ssh on the blink app on the iPad
Very lightweight network usage. Battery life is spectacular.
I have access to all of my Apple info plus my Google Apps.
Plus, a secure and direct connection to my PAI AI agent via ssh, running safely in my home lab

Everybody criticizes AI for making it easy to generate garbage content, but it was easy to generate garbage content before AI came along. The difference now is that AI can help you become a better writer — but only if you use it as an assistant, not a replacement for your insight.
Use an #LLM to help you:
- brainstorm ideas for headlines
- research
- suggest outlines for your posts
- rewrite, reformat, or summarize
- proofread
But AI can't come up with creative ideas. That's always your job.
Stuck trying to come up with a good #alt tag for your images? Try Ahref's AI Image Alt Text Generator.
What's good: generated text is in the 100 - 125 character range, the Description field lets you add information or keywords for the generator to incorporate, the fun emoji-laden "tone selector" means you can experiment with different styles.
Not so great: it doesn't generate the most accurate image descriptions. But, it's a start!
An essential but often invisible aspect of web design is accessibility. Test your new designs as soon as possible to avoid expensive problems down the road. Use the free WAVE tools, especially the browser extensions, to test your new design as soon as you can open the new page in a browser.
