I want to reorganize my living room so I did a mock up and enjoyed drawing perspective so I tried a few on a lamp and it was challenging because who knew shading would be so important but I want to practice more.
Gift for Anna is complete! I kept putting off the final side of the shoe because I really wasn’t sure how I was going to cover up the failed design beneath. I am very pleased with how it turned out. I went for a more abstract sunset.

I played chess with my girlfriend last night and it was sooo exhilarating !! I hadn’t played in a while and she’d never played ... I look forward to checkmating her again 😉 (actually she nearly put me in checkmate a few times)

I’m hoping to mail gift for Alex by her birthday. The stitching is so small and compact so it’s taking quite some time so I’m trying to find a cohesive way to change styles…
I live with idiopathic hypersomnia.
I recently started Xywav, and we’re still working out the dosage and everything, but it’s so incredibly worth it because I’m awake! It’s wild adding 5+ hours to my day… I can do things I enjoy and that fills me with great joy.

I finally hemmed my pants today. I’m very pleased with how they turned out.
Using the sewing machine was so therapeutic. I haven’t used it in a long time. I’m excited to finish some other projects now!
