I am a huge silent hill fan, so when it came to what I wanted to draw today, the answer was clear: heather from silent hill.
The other page was left a bit more up to interpretation, so I decided to go with a muscle character, just for the fun of it.

3/365 Today's prompt was 'Free draw Friday' so I just went with some very basic flowers.

Also, learning how crap the Ohuhu stuff actually is vs. real art supplies. Don't fall into social media promotional pitfalls like me. The Ohuhu acrylic markers barely layer, but the Posca is *flawless*

I keep thinking I’ve bought all the art supplies I’ll ever need, but then a new medium appears in a shiny colorful rainbow of colors, and I cant help but indulge. Welcome to my new 72 set of Jusart acrylic paint pens!

There are dozens of sets of acrylic markers to choose from. I’m pretty happy with the set I got. It has a nice selection of colors and a nice case. They were among the cheapest per pen but with the highest reviews (4.8/5). There are smaller sets, and other brands sell sets with hundreds of colors.

If you value lightfastness, you could also look at Posca or the extra fancy Molotow. Molotow are refillable, retippable (tips are exchangeable and highly varied), lightfast, waterproof. They say they are worth the premium, but they’re also 6 or 7 times the price of my cheap ones.

The one thing lacking in the set I bought are enough colors with a darker value (8 or 9 out of 10). So I just ordered another small set of nine more “colorful blacks” to fill in that gap.
