The US fixation on Iran is a product of several elements, such as American imperialism, oil hunger, and Trump's obsession with regime change and defeating "traditional" adversaries.

But a huge, huge component is Netanyahu using US military power to conduct his own foreign policy on the cheap.

We fucking HAD a "nuclear deal" with Iran - he tore it up, LAST TIME he was President.

This isn't a nuclear deal. This is a missile deal; we are demanding Iran give up its hypersonic missiles, which is the only reason Israel and the US haven't been able to do a regime change war against Iran yet. Iran will not agree because if they do, they will get Iraq'd within a year.
