Father's day is always bittersweet because my dad passed away 19 years ago.. (the baby in his arms is me :)) The last 10 years of his life was riddled with health issue after health issue and he left my mom a widow at 60 years old (I'll be 60 next March) He was really smart and had a dry wit with a smattering of goofball (I get the goofball from him) I miss him. Even after all these years. I'm thankful for the time I did have with him. #fathersday #happyfathersday #dad #today

I'm working on a prompt engineering challenge to create a poster for a comedy on the future of AI for a LinkedInLearning course. I've been playing with midjourney for a couple weeks now - but I can not get text to look correct (creating my logo examples I wound up taking the image generated and putting it in canva) AM I missing a parameter or something to get the text to show up correct or should I just do the image in midjourney and use something else for text? #midjourney #promptengineering

On my 6 month anniversary on Mastodon here is my updated introduction! Still working for same company, still 3d printing, still caring for my 79yo mom, still working remote (10 years now) I'm delving into AI as a tool to be more productive in my day job. Only 5ish years away from retirement. Struggling a bit to get videos done for my YT channel. Next few months I want to learn 3d modeling so I can create my own designs :) OH and I raised six kids on my own who are now 26-38 yo. #introduction
