I was working on numerical simulations of exhaust gas scrubbers until I found myself as co-founder and CTO of an Internet start-up (QENTA, now QENTA Payment CEE). Starting with 2003, I've been working as independent IT consultant with focus on Agile Methods, Software Engineering and Information Security.

The truth is that the go language designers choose to ignored the lessons learned from 50 years of language design.
One of those lessons was that you can't retroactively change fundamentals of a popular language without running into inconsistency nightmares.
The other was that despite all the many downsides of exceptions, alternatives are usually worse.

ich suche leider noch immer nach einem neuen Job als #iOS und/oder #macOS Entwickler. Ich spreche #ObjectiveC, #Swift (auch Server-Side) und #SwiftUI und nutze die ganzen Tools drumherum (#Xcode, #Git, #GitHub, #GitHubActions, #ShellScripting etc.). Ich bringe 30 Jahre Berufserfahrung als Software-Entwickler mit, davon knapp 20 im #Apple Ökosystem.
Am Idealsten waere eine #Festanstellung zu 100% remote. Sollte es im Raum #Bregenz oder #Dornbirn etwas geben, dann auch gerne vor Ort.

The only promise Trump keeps from his campaign is that he would turn the USA into an authoritarian country.
The constitution is not getting in his way as long as nobody enforces it.
If you want to know what's going on or what comes next, look at countries that turned authoritarian like Turkey, Hungary or Russia.
