I have to give a shout-out to Vincent Neo for the Lossless Switcher available for free and open source. This little app automatically adjusts the audio device's sample rate to match the sample rate of the currently playing song.

I don;t know why #Apple haven't just got this feature as a standard part of their OS, however this is wonderful when playing a playlist in Apple Music and the tracks switch between different lossless resolutions.

The screenshot I've attached shows a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young album playing in 24-bit/192kHz. Immediately before this I had on Frogstomp by Silverchair which was served in 16-bit/44.1kHz. I didn't lift a finger however both were rendered correctly.

You can download this app via #GitHub: https://github.com/vincentneo/LosslessSwitcher

Finished putting a new #pudi on the #tabla this weekend. It’s always an effort but we’ll worth it when done.

I tune the tabla each day for a week to let the pudi settle in, stretching the baddhi over the gatta as needed. After a week, I’ll then pull out all of the gatta, re-tighten the baddhi, and then the drum is good to go.

Whilst there is flood warning with BOM at the moment, Townsville is having just the right amount of rain today.

This was a great read. ING made headlines with their #agile transformation around 8 years ago, and their mobile-first push is equally as interesting.

I'm particularly interested in the mobile-first approach for #HumanResources and #HRTech. It's obvious to me that a mobile-first approach is the only way HR services will be consumed in the #FutureOfWork, either in the flow of work or at a time & place of the customer/employee's choosing.
