There's a woman on TikTok who is using daily engagement to pay off her debt.
People are coming together to interact with her videos, as well as directly donating, to help her pay it off.
Thanks to the community on TikTok, she's getting thousands of dollars daily and has just been able to pay off her credit card.
I know in this space we often talk about the harms of platforms like TikTok, but I think anyone with a heart can recognise how amazing this is. Users of the app are utilising its profit making system for GOOD!
My hope is that, when the Social Web is in a place to support creators financially, these same morals will be at the forefront of the culture we create.
