If anyone tries to tell you that cancel culture is a real thing, remind them that in 2022 admitted sexual predator Louis CK won the Grammy award for best comedy album and in 2023 it went to proud transphobe and antisemite Dave Chapelle.
Cancelling isn’t and never has been real.
In July I had to call an ambulance for my father. 999 answered instantly, but then the ambulance service line just rang, & rang, & rang, for over half an hour without answer. My father stayed injured on the ground for the whole night even after we called via another agency. As a result of his neglect that night, he has now become unable to live at his home and is in residential care.
The UK ambulance #strike is because people are at risk. It is not the cause, it is action to end the scandal.

It's such a good vaccine. Prevents #cervicalcancer (along with a range of other benefits, like reductions in oral and skin HPV infections, genital warts etc)/
Like every other routine #immunization, need to increase uptake, increase access, better understand hesitancy, better counter the #antivax lies and misinformation that is sadly prevalent.
In a new position paper published last week, WHO has updated its recommendations for the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine. Of particular note, the paper states that a single-dose schedule, referred to as an alternative, off-label single–dose schedule can provide a comparable efficacy and durability of protection to a two-dose regimen.
