Defederation is THE killer feature of #Mastodon and other #ActivityPub implementations with solid domain/account management.

If that happens, Mastodon Social would be just another social network to migrate/export your data out, giving chance to other non-Gargron instances, or pleroma, misskey, even Mastodon forks, or other ActivityPub software to shine.
