My 24 hour experiment with copilot is over. It does suggest some interesting completions but I spend too much mental energy seeing if it's right and it's a UI/hover mess that's too distracting.
I'm back to being 100% AI free.
That said, VSCode is a good c++ IDE, much better then I thought. Not as good as Xcode, but very workable. The thing I was looking for was break-points and stepping into code and it does it.
The Advent of Compiler Optimisations by @mattgodbolt is brilliant. I watch a new episode everyday at lunch. The 25th is close so it's time to binge watch and up your compiler-game.

This has been a great year for the #godotengine, but there are still a lot of things we would love to do.

Good news everybody! The SteamDeck/Linux stutter is now fixed in Death by Scrolling, plus some other awesome quality of life changes. We continue to make improvements mostly because I can't stop working on the game.
