This has been a great year for the #godotengine, but there are still a lot of things we would love to do.
If each person visiting our website donated €5, we could hire 5 more developers to work on Godot full-time.

I feel like this should go on the website somewhere
@poolitzer Hi there! I'm from Germany, but not a tax lawyer. So please don't trust me blindly.
As far as I know, you can in theory deduct donations to any non profit within the EU as long as they would be considered "gemeinnützig" according to German law. The second part is usually the tricky one. For Godot you can find a very brief mission statement in the key policies: https://godot.foundation/policies-and-procedures/key-policies
I kinda doubt this would count as "gemeinnützig", but honestly I would just ask the tax office.
The Godot Foundation strives to help the Godot Engine continue to break down barriers to video game development and make it possible for everyone to create high quality video games, regardless of who they are and where they are located.
