Well, it is finally going to happen… development for @wslutilities will be completely ceased.

Right now,

1. I have no environment (A Windows 11 with WSL2 support) to really solve the existing issue;
2. My daily job and my other projects are becoming more a focus for me, beacuse of point 1.

Thus,

- Currently, I am working on Stopping GitHub Sponsors/Open Collective account;
- On March 1st, all of github.com/wslutilities will be archived;
- Before April 1st, Server (wslutiliti.es)will stop working;
- Domain will be no longer renew and will be expired at Feb 17, 2026.

I want to thank everyone that helped me during this journey, especially @hayden and Carlos (github.com/crramirez). And I really appreciate that WSL is helping me getting deeper into the Linux world.

Current fix in Ivory is to go to your Ivory account settings and tap the “Reset Account Cache” button. Hopefully this issue gets resolved soon. 🤞

Obsidian 1.8 is now available to all for desktop and mobile! A few highlights:

- Web viewer. New core plugin lets you open external links in Obsidian on desktop. Makes it easier to read linked content without leaving the app and improves multitasking for web research.
- Improved iCloud sync. Obsidian no longer waits to confirm that configuration files have synced.
- New "Download attachments for current file" command.

If you click the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the official Mastodon app AND you leave the search box blank, you will be shown posts that are trending on your server.

Posts trend if they are newly published and lots of people are currently sharing them. The more boosts a post gets, the higher it appears on the list.

Everyone on your server sees the same trending list, it's not any kind of personalised algorithm. It's just a simple list of the most-shared recent posts.
