Got the new garden to a major milestone this weekend, so have some pics of all our plants!
In these pictures we've got potatoes, tomatoes, oregano, basil, petunias, lavender (I think), some flowering bush I don't remember the name of, lilac, and Boston fern.
I didn’t go to the #AllotmentGarden for 10 days because the weather was shit and I was busy. Came back to two of my veggie beds being absolutely overgrown with goosefoot (they’re new beds from this year so it’s probably because the seeds enjoyed being disturbed) and the horseradish poking up in new and exciting (not) spots.
Two hours of work today helped a bit though, but I’m happy I will have more time to get it under control again over the next few weeks 😅
If anyone knows anything about how to become a small sponsor at the Eisteddfod, or any other way of engaging with the Eisteddfod, please reach out to me, I'm interested in highlighting/showcasing Tŵt to the Maes visitors.
I wish I could be there to run a small stall, but I don't think I can make that happen this year.
Side note, 10% of all posts on Tŵt are yn Gymraeg!
Ditto for the Golwg360 site, I don't see any ads on the site but maybe there's a way to do an advertorial or something....
Actually, any ideas at all, if anyone has thoughts on how/where we could be promoting our community, I'm all ears. Paid or free, I'm open to putting some money into it.
Another night of temperatures in mid-40's Fahrenheit had me delaying (again) planting my tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant outside.
They'll finally get planted later today.
