@malwarejake why do you blame Python in particular? Wouldn’t this kind of floating point precision error happen in other languages too? Did you want the decimal module?
@chartier in the counter factual world where Sam Altman keeps it to himself, do you not also envision harms? These things would still be possible, but only the elite would know.

@unormal @photex @onelson that’s not much warning. If I were an enterprise customer that wouldn’t look good. These changes should be announced well in advance. At least 90 days, preferably 6 months or a year.
