I'm currently in a #100DaysOfCode challenge learning Python.
Former urban explorer and pin cushion.

Taking a step back today, ending my 38-day coding streak. Being 'productive' daily can feel like it defines us, but it shouldn't. I'm choosing to prioritize my mental health. Life and coding aren't just about streaks and stats. It's about growth, learning, and well-being.

If you're facing similar struggles, remember it's okay to pause and focus on self-care. We're humans, not code-generating machines. 🌈💚

📅 Still on day 23 of #100DaysOfCode:

Today was a rollercoaster. ðŸŽĒ I dived deep into a coding rabbit hole, thinking I could solve a chunk of my project in one go. But you know what they say about best-laid plans...

I found myself needing to refactor a part of my code. 😅 Thanks to a chat with my rubber duck buddy ðŸĶ†, I was able to snap out of my hyperfocus.

So I decided to take a break for the rest of the day. Stepped back, and got some fresh air with a longer walk. ðŸšķ‍♂ïļðŸĒ

Reality check in my #100DaysOfCode journey. My turtle has taken its tentative steps across the screen, which I suppose counts as progress. Next, I need a rubber duck to talk to, lest I start conversing with the walls. 😅

If anyone knows a good place to find a cute or quirky duck or figure for #rubberduckdebugging hit me up. My turtle needs a conversation partner other than me! ðŸĒ💎

🐍 Wrapped up Day 22 of my #100DaysOfCode journey! Today's agenda involved fine-tuning my Python-based Pong game. ðŸŽŪ Strayed a bit from Dr. Angela Yu's blueprint by opting for a lower speed and removing the sleep function. It made the game smoother but introduced a curious bug where the ball attached to the paddle. ðŸĪ”🏓

Also, my first day with "Rubber Duck Debugging." Looking forward to creating a sanctuary for my future coding rubber ducks. ðŸĶ†

Day 22 of #100DaysOfCode: Dived deeper into Dr. Angela Yu's course & also started 'Code the Classics'. Today's win? A Pong paddle that stays in bounds! 🎉

Big thanks to the 'Code the Classics' team for making a book that's not just instructional but also beautiful.

Feeling closer to becoming a Pythonista with every line of code. This is more than a challenge; it's a transformative experience. 🚀

🐍 Day 21 of #100DaysOfCode, and not only did I finish the snake game, but I also set a new high score, beating my course instructor! 🎉 But wait, there's more. I've also tweaked the game so that the food always lands on a grid aligned with the snake. #Python #ADHD
Day 20 of #100DaysOfCode: Managed to separate a few parts of my Snake code into its own class, but not without a wild bug hunt. Ah, the thrill of chasing one's own mistakes. Then got sidetracked by TTRPGs, because who needs to finish a coding task when you can pretend to rule imaginary worlds? I'm not procrastinating; I'm diversifying failure. #ProcrastinationLevelExpert #WhyDoOneThingWhenYouCanFailAtTwo #ADHD 🐍ðŸŽē
Today marks the 20th day of my #100DaysOfCode challenge. My original goal was to build Snake by following my Udemy course, but my ADHD had other plans. I ended up setting up WingIDE on a Kali VM, and then delved into reading Black Hat Python. Instead of completing one task, I ended up adding three more to my queue. Procrastination truly is a fascinating muse. I consider myself an expert at procrastination. 🐍ðŸŽĐ

Completed Day 19 of my #100DaysOfCode journey and what a ride! A tip of the hat to my instructor, Angela Yu. Initially rushed after her briefing, only to backtrack. Turned out, I was on the right track all along! 🙈 Also, special thanks to ChatGPT for assisting me in adding text right into the turtle race screen. #Python #TurtleGraphics
Day 19 of 100: Left my coding to run an errand, and came back with solutions with a side of bugs. 🐛 Breaks work wonders! Sometimes, they're like coffee for my brain – jittery and dark, just like my humor. ðŸĪŠ Hitting the keyboard again!
