Biting off more than I can chew, literally and figuratively. I like to play video games, read fantasy, and write little stories when I'm not consulting the environment (it has a lot to say). Catch me at a bookstore on the corner, or under a rock somewhere with the salamanders.

Banner photo: Hurricane Ridge, WA on a clear day.

Profile pic: little ol' me before getting to meet my hero, the World Record Sitka Spruce. Was definitely worth the wait.

From shovelling leaves but soon
From the heavy snow

#Walz in Minnesota:

"Look, folks: I know this is a hard moment. It's hard to lose. It's hard to understand how so many of our fellow citizens—people Democrats have long fought to help—wound up choosing the path they did."

"So if you're feeling deflated and discouraged today, I want you to know that I get it … Take care of yourself. Take care of your loved ones. Take care of your community. There are a million ways to make a difference—get back in the fight when you're ready."

🌱 🍵 Growing tea plants from seed is a pretty slow process (or I’m doing something wrong). But just look at this little guy, don’t you just want to give it all the sunshine and water in the world?

Absolutely wild to me how large the seed is, and how absolutely precious this sprout is. It’s been a month and a half since planting it.
