Even if your filters are good, a good person you invite in might not have good filters themselves. So some olds are just like "I know the 20 anarchists in town that have passed the test of time, why would I want to risk it meeting anyone new, I'm never going to talk to anyone else whatsoever."

Just deleted the YouTube app from from my phone because it recommended that I watch Nigel Farage whine about banks of GB News. I tried to block the whole GB News or find some way to indicate that I do not want this sort of recommendation and because I could find no options for either of these things I just deleted the whole thing. There is good content on YouTube but it also loaded with ads and crap and unnecessary elongated bullshit videos. I wish there was a better alt UI for YouTube.
