Enjoyed a super calming sunset swim today. I started swimming regularly just because I loved being in the sea, but this week I've really appreciated the meditative nature of cold water - of enjoying the sensation and focusing on keeping my breathing calm. So grateful to live right by the sea!

Having a brilliant time at #KendalMountainFestival. I went to the Nature Chronicles Award Ceremony last night and was so inspired and encouraged by the excerpts read. Can't wait to read the collection of shortlisted essays!
