There's not a CEO in the world doing $7 million worth of work. Saying this is in line with exec compensation elsewhere is not a defense, it's an indictment. Nor is gender equity in pay an argument when ALL execs are overpaid and where pay equity is worst is at the entry level and among the precariat.
Seriously, stop trying to justify a $7 million salary. Executive compensation is a PROBLEM, and while it's nothing specific to Mozilla, you can say this without pretending it's healthy.

Happy Sunday!
A reminder:
The Catholic Church spent $11 mill in the NE US to fight legislation that would help victims of clergy sexual abuse get justice
In NY the Catholic Church spent $3 mill lobbying against the Child Victims Act
The Catholic Church donated over $3 mill to limit abortion access in Kansas
The Catholic Church refused to pay $20 mill to residential school survivors
- then they paid $30 mill for a new cathedral in Saskatoon

Dear developers: I don't want to use your app on my phone. I want a mobile web version, and you can do that.
Thanks kindly.
The tech press would love Mastodon to fail and Bluesky to succeed.
Why? Because it fits very neatly into a pre-determined narrative.
Mastodon is supposedly made by a ragtag squad who flew too close to the sun.
And Bluesky is supposedly made by Silicon Valleyโtheyโre supposed to win.
Thereโs nothing the tech press love more than an outcome thatโs predetermined.
Bluesky Terms of Service gives Jack a 'perpetual' & 'irrevocable' license to all your content (posts, name, likeness, pics) as well as to your firstborn child.
BlueSky can delete your account for any reason, and, letโs face it, probably should.
Bluesky may refuse to delete your account based on its postsโ banger-to-meh ratio.
You can't screenshot Bluesky because it steals the postโs soul.
All disputes to be resolved in hand-to-hand combat with Jack in the thunderdome.
