You'd think after a few months of trying to identify lichens, I'd at least be able to a fruticose from a foliose. You'd be wrong.
At least today, after fruitlessly browsing through the fruticose section, I remembered the last time I encountered this one and could refer to my 'notes'...

Behold, a maybe Hypogymnia Tubulosa I gathered during my last walk in the mountain (plenty of lichens fallen over the snow cover, more ID attempts to come later)

Saw a coyote on today's walk, but wasn't able to get a photo. Super cool experience though. Also some pretty #moss, and #lichen.
