OpenAI's nightmare: DeepSeek R1 on a Raspberry Pi 5 ;)
Loops is our short video sharing platform, we're running the first server at https://loops.video
While it's not open source or federated yet, we are working on that.
If you are on Loops.video, you will be able to migrate your full account to another Loops server without losing your followers, videos, comments or likes!
It's pretty amazing what is possible with open platforms and protocols ✨
We've received more offers to acquire our platform/assets.
We belong to the people.
Our Kickstarter is launching soon, help us prove that we, the people, can build healthy and vibrant communities, without being controlled by vested interests who don't share our values.
Recent events have proved how vital these open and federated platforms are, help us continue building for the people.
Spread the word ✨

Other than going back to #archlinux I've basically poured a lot of time learning #powershell. I can say hands-down PowerShell is one of the most underrated scripting languages. The sheer simplicity once you learn its syntax and flow of things makes it a very versatile tool especially for cross-platform.
To think I could simply start threads so easily to do things with start-threadjob and other things in parallel left me in awed.
⚡ Android
users: have you tried @PixelDroid yet?
PixelDroid is an android app with first class Pixelfed support.
We recommend you give it a try, the devs are working on Post Edit and Story support too!
Microsoft is adding a Copilot AI assistant to Windows 11.
Windows Copilot will be integrated directly into Windows 11 and available to open and use from the taskbar across all apps and programs.
The Windows Copilot can summarize content you’re viewing in apps, rewrite it, or even explain it. It looks very similar to the dialog box that’s found in Bing Chat, so you can ask it general questions and things you might usually ask a search engine.
#Microsoft has released their new LAPS application Windows LAPS.
Works with Windows 10 and 11 and doesn't matter if they are domain or Azure AD joined.
