@aspiememes I love this infographic...lol .. I find over the years, looking back, that I get overwhelmed by awful people significantly more than other types of environmental factor overwhelm. I dunno if that makes sense. Some people are so: toxic, bigoted, racist, etc etc that being around them makes me feel physically ill. I think that's prolly the cPTSD

I would just let it go, they seem to have a lot of drama going on. I wouldn't want to have them cause me drama, too,.

Having somebody "check on you" to see if you are following THEIR rules which they never disclosed until you "broke" them is a violation of boundaries to me, personally.

Allistics don't find Autistics amazingly relatable.

Remembering the Dakota 38+2

Most Minnesotans may have heard of the Dakota War of 1862, but the vast majority are unaware of the atrocities that took place following the war to forcibly suppress Dakota resistance to colonization and the violation of their treaty rights. On December 26th, 1862, 38 Dakota men were publicly hung in Mankato, Minnesota. This mass execution, ordered by President Abraham Lincoln, is the largest mass execution in U.S. history.

On this day 160 years ago, the U.S. carried out the largest mass execution in its history when Abraham Lincoln ordered the killing of 38 Dakota Nation members, weeks after the Dakota had surrendered in the 1862 war. ⁠

The Dakota war was triggered at a time when the Dakota People were starving to death and under attack from white settlers. After repeated peace treaty violations by the U.S. and its failure to deliver food and supplies to the tribe as compensation for their land, some Dakota began to fiercely rebel. ⁠

After what many describe as unfair trials, 38 tribe members were hung in front of hundreds of white settlers. Following the execution, Congress passed legislation that prohibited Dakota from living in Minnesota and forced the tribe into exile.
