My 2010 Mac Pro, which still effortlessly runs a suite of legacy BIM/CAD Apps that can’t run in VMs thanks to the joys of hardware dongles, just beeped in sorrow.

Apple has discontinued the Mac Pro. 😔

@asymco Both Apple and Sony are ideally placed to make totally awesome electric bikes.

So much more sensible to start with a product that serves 8 to 80 year olds, than a 2 tonne battery with wheels.

@_Davidsmith Bug finding, documentation and checking unit test coverage have been consistently good across many languages for me. Automation of boring grunt work is a joy to behold.

Same, although I am also wrestling jumping between the two worlds.

Stepping thru the debugger feels more like walking through wet concrete, than ever.

@asymco Personal computing is now an accessory to mobile computing. That’s an insightful Horace-ism!

It feels like cars, and so many other modern goods are too!
