Looking at Albo's stunned mullet reaction to recent events, going back at least as far as the Bondi shootings, I get the feeling that he has checked out. Or is it just Albo being Albo? #auspol

@johnquiggin When it came to communicating events and circumstances to the public, Albanese has always been rather inept. He's pretty much the opposite of Shorten, great at rambling off-script and doing pep talk, but not very good at *following* a script when needed.
