#SiYuan now supports import Wikilinks (so #Logseq, #Obsidian, #Dynalist, #RemNote, etc.) in 2.9.3 https://github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/releases/tag/v2.9.3.

They're also offering lifetime Sync license https://mastodon.social/@nhan/110586050242090473.

What I like about #SiYuan is that they also offer sync via 3rd party service (S3 and WebDAV) with a one-time payment license (currently this feature is in beta so it's free). So no lock-in (compared to #RemNote sync).

Thanks @omnivore! The latest version of the Obsidian plugin works great:

- create date link to the day the article was read
- create static highlightIDs to link to highlights
- use the tags from Omnivore in Obsidian

My #Mastodon layout.

@phanpy is sooo good. It makes Mastodon usable and a joy to use.

Obsidian update 1.3.5, introduces a convenient shortcut - SHIFT+enter - that bypasses the autocomplete popup & allows for quick creation of links.

This is yet another small trick to increase efficiency.

Find out more about this at the Obsidian Observer: https://medium.com/obsidian-observer/obsidian-quick-tip-use-shift-enter-to-skip-autocomplete-on-links-8495ea189c4c

After a remark here, @omnivore improved highlight exports by adding a unique id for every highlight. This was not yet usable in Obsidian, but with a tiny patch it is now possible for every Omnivore highlight to have a unique block-link in Obsidian. These ids never change, so you can safely link to them.

Until the fix is incorporated upstream, here is a working plugin: https://github.com/QWxleA/obsidian-omnivore

And here a slightly longer explanation: https://qwxlea.org/Notes/omnivore

Should You Read How to Make Notes and Write by Dan Allosso
There has been a glut of note-making books in the last few years, some are decent, and some are thinly veiled attempts at generating intellectual property so the author can sell you on more courses. I'm happy to say that How to Make Notes and Write by Dan Alloso and SF Allosso is one of the former, a decent book about taki
