The little bush primary school I went to in Bobin, in the Manning Valley, NSW, is at risk of closure. That would be a huge bummer for the community there (which I'm still connected to).

The school goes through waves of high and low enrolments every decade or so, and currently has few students. If it closes, it will be nearly impossible to reopen it.

Q1 2026 saw the lowest gas generation on the entire NEM for ANY quarter since 1999. Batteries are take HUGE bites out of gas power everywhere. How is someone in this position allowed to get away with saying something as absurd as this?
