I’ll never forget those eyes: At our #museum animation, a five-year-old girl watched me #embroidering - shyly from a distance. I encouraged her to come and have a closer look. As she came curiously, I let her feel my fabric: ‘Look, I’m embroidering #moss! It’s knobbly like real moss.’
Her eyes in her happy face were the very picture of awe and curiosity about #nature and #embroidery. Her Grandpa: 'Can we come again?!' That's what many of our visitors do.

Graham has searched seven barrels so far and found very little fun and even fewer monkeys.
Billie Jean King graduates from college at age 82 after leaving for tennis: ‘Yeah baby, only 61 years!’

King distinguished herself as a tennis champ at Cal State Los Angeles, winning Wimbledon doubles while enrolled

Seen in my friend's backyard. This tree is hungry for metal poles. I even see its hungry eye. The pareidolia is strong with this one.

Ivvavik: A Place for Giving Birth

Ivvavik, Canada's first national park created through an Indigenous land claim agreement, has a name that means 'a place for giving birth' in Inuvialuktun. It protects the vital calving grounds of the Porcupine Caribou Herd. Each year, thousands of caribou migrate here to have their young, making it a cornerstone of Gwich'in culture and ecological stability. #Canada #Ivvavik #Yukon #Caribou 🇨🇦

Remember when there was nothing to check and no device to check it on and all you did was live your life?

Wolken / clouds

This is a photo from our trip to Maine last year. I didn't even really edit it. I just always think it looks like the clouds decided to fly down and have a little meeting together 😅

Mike Johnson thinks the Congressional salary is too low and he wants us to "have some sympathy." I'll give him the same advice he and other corrupt elites give working people suffering on $7.25/hour:
•Get a Second job at $7.25/hour
•Go to college with an 8% loan
•Stop buying avocado toast
•Split rent on a studio apt
•Move in w/your parents
•”Find something new”
•Make coffee at home
•Learn to code

#3GoodThings #Gardening

1. My annual planting of the veggies and herbs in our raised garden beds was done in the rain. It was a very pleasant experience. (photos attached)

2. My knitting group met at a friend's back patio and I made some progress on the right sleeve of my purple cardigan, without messing up while engaged in conversation. A first!

3. A simple salad for supper eaten in the backyard while admiring my gardening handiwork.

#DogsOfMastodon

My supervisor for the afternoon. She's keeping a close watch on how I'm doing with planting the tomatoes and herbs. Not sure if she approves my method. She just silently judges me.
