I'm looking to connect with some friendly people from the game development area, since I'm planning to change fields from web development to game design.

Recently i had two projects where I had to use #tailwindcss
For a short period of time I really liked it.
It's fast, configurable and builds into a lightweight css file.
However, I hate that the html gets blown up and is absolutely ugly to read.
Yes I could create tailwind components... But then I'm basically back at ordinary css.
Personally I still prefer good old css classes with custom properties. Might use tailwind for quick prototyping though.
Do #webDev peeps still care about optimization?
I just went to a site and their Team page took forever to load because it waited on an auto-play video to load.
The page was over 53mb!
People have gone nuts to think that's acceptable, right?
