Figured it out got #soapbox UI on top of #pleroma communicating to the #fediverse just took a little time.. if you get followed by @davidfield it's my #selfhosted box.

The instructions here: https://soapbox.pub/install/ worked perfectly.

Looking for a little help and understanding. I've setup a #pleroma server with #soapbox and from my mastodon instance I can see my pleroma user and from pleroma i can see the mastodon user..

Is this pleroma just part of the fediverse now? I ask as the federated section is quiet.. also does all of this work only on port 443?

My overarching #opinion is my life has too few years left to install my own native #mastodonserver so I've installed https://yunohost.org/ and installed one using this, It in all took 35 minutes and seems to be working..

So I've torn that down (for now) and want to see if I can get #Soapbox connected to Mastodon as it looks quite pretty.

Think I'm going to setup my own #mastodon server tomorrow might host on #vultr or #homelab it I'm not sure yet

It's something to do, maybe I'll try installing some other #fediverse apps what's good for #photography ?

Hopefully thats it for the #fireworks this year. #bonfirenight is over.

Every year the poor dog gets #ptsd tonight a car backfired and he wanted to go straight back home..

Letting fireworks off it essentially burning money in a recession. The same people who do it then moan about not enough government handouts.. (comment based on actual knowledge of this not speculation)
