Hey #webdev and #frontend folks, what’s the most straight forward way to add a contact form to my static website?

My site is built with #eleventy, and hosted on a vm.

Ok with a small paid service of there are no self rolled options. Would be awesome if I could a small/indie dev who is running something on the side.

Wooo pretty excited about the new table modern control for #PowerApps!! I've hand built one with a gallery and containers but I know that's problematic from an accessibility perspective. I see the new table control has column sorting built straight in!!

August 2023 updates for modernization and theming in Power Apps

Note: This blog is in continuation of the announcement of modern controls coming to canvas apps & new look for model driven apps. You can find the July 2023 updates here. Modern controls updates in canvas apps In the month of August, there was critical progress made on the journey to modernize Power Apps with…

I'm a #SharePoint and #PowerPlatform developer. We often send email notifications saying "hey, there's a new thing that needs your attention. click here to respond." The link takes them a #PowerApps form or a #PowerAutomate flow approval.

It occurs to me perhaps this isn't a good practice from an #infosec perspective. Many of the phishing email test that we're supposed to pass follow this exact pattern.

Is there a better way to send these notifications?

I setup #CaddyServer approximately 1 million years ago and hell if I can remember anything about it... but now I want to add another site so off to the documentation I suppose... also I will endeavor to create better notes this time around.
These AI companies are scraping the internet to teach the machines how to sound more human. “Content creators” are using the AI to generate content for the internet. Hour long until the AI companies are teaching their machines on content that’s been generated by the machines? Seems like a death spiral that’s ends up with the Internet and search engines being useless content farms made by and for AI. Imagine it everything you search returns the equivalent of ask.com results.
Well #HomeAssistant doesn't exactly make it easy to set the color temp of a light bulb. I'd like to type in 2700 kelvin. I've only seen this when performing a service call. Why can't I get at those controls on this screen?!

Hey #HomeAssistant folx, are we aware of any temp/humidity sensor comparisons?

Looking for accuracy and the ability to adjust if needed. Prefer zigbee/zwave.

Hey #HomeAssistant folks what do we like for smart plugs these days?

Preference would be something with #ESPHome or compatibility with #Tasmota. Otherwise, main requirement would be ability to monitor power.

I also have good #Zigbee and #ZWave networks though if theres something you really like with those protocols.

Hey #HomeAssistant folks, is anyone using the #Zemismart blind motors? Can anyone recommend a dumb shade they bought for the express purpose of retrofitting with these motors? If yes, can you tell me what you got?

We don’t have any existing blinds so I’m trying to buy the blinds and retrofit with these motors. I bought a rolling blind on Amazon but I can’t tell how to get the stupid thing apart to change the tube and I think this one will not work.
