@sesivany You should write that on Blue Sky instead of preaching to the choir.
Have to admit that the content is currently significantly better on Blue Sky than on Mastodon.
I think it's likely a mistake to force people to choose a Mastodon server. mastodon.social ought to be the default choice. Otherwise people in general will think it's too troublesome and turn at the door. That it gets more centralized than some would want is a necessary sacrifice if there's to be a chance to win the users.
@Linux_Is_Best No surprise there really. Been a while since they manufactured this Tux. Microsoft's first priority is revenue as always. Even Windows doesn't mean a thing if it ever hurts rather than creates revenue.
Been using WSL for many years now. My employer requires Windows so I use it at work, and Ubuntu/macOS at home. With Windows Terminal and WSL it's actually not at all bad for administering Linux servers. WT was a HUGE improvement to ConEmu and PuTTY in my opinion.
@Linux_Is_Best Regarding Azure it was revealed already in 2015 that they use Linux for part of their intrastructure. I visited Microsoft for an Azure workshop in 2017, and everybody spoke warmly about Linux. It was a significant part of the training material. Azure Cloud Shell had just been introduced in the portal, and could be used to administer Azure by CLI. Turned out to be a virtual Linux machine.
(Privately I use AWS by the way.)

I'm guessing this is the blog post:

It was not how RH themselves actually phrased it though.
