So my Olympus OM-1 died Friday night at dragoncon at the dino stampede🦖🦖🦖🦖. I brought some film gear that I intended to experiment with - which accidentally became my main cameras. I'm getting the results back from the lab now and the results are mixed 🤔

The scanner was the last piece to fall into place. I got it for $20 from Goodwill, and that was the green light to buy everything else. It's a cheap one with the film carrier, and it wasn't awful, but think there is room for improvement.

I'm on vacation and trying color film for the first time in 25 years. I hope it works out   I've learned a few things already

✅I "need" at least 1 AF body. Whats a reliable, available Nikon AF body? F100? Maybe it's time for an F body?
✅The yashica electro 35 is fun. People ask about it a lot and it's easy to use. I have it loaded with cinestill 400D. Maybe I like rangefinders. I'm going to end up with a Leica aren't I? Is this how it starts? 💸
