too bad for the people who spent the last few months developing ai workflows that are now completely unworkable with no alternatives
coulda just listened to the moral and ethical arguments against though
or if that doesn't work the people who looked at the underlying economics and accurately predicted massive price hikes

We've got a *lot* of work to do in the new garden. Seraph isn't exactly helping, but she is enjoying the wilderness the previous owners of this place left behind.

In the light of this sudden rise in temperature here in England, I'm starting to think that putting my office in the attic room in our new house was a bad idea.
I really need to post more on here again. Since moving I’ve barely had the time to organise photos and post them, never mind all the editing. But I am getting out; the #PeakDistrict is a fantastic landscape. I’m almost spoiled for choice when I want to go for a hike.
I think I’ve got some work ahead of me - lots of cleaning, greasing, calibrating, and even mirror replacement needed here.
I’m settling into the North nicely. Took today off to go into Manchester and have a wander; it was unusually warm, so it’s time for a brief respite in a pub.
(If you’re in #Manchester and looking for a decent boozer, I recommend the Badger. It’s just opened today, and I hope it does well - good vibe AND gluten-free beer. What’s not to love?)
Attempt 2 at joining #TeamHorizon, after my first one two years ago turned out to be full of fungus and completely lacking light seals and was sent back as a result.
Stumbled upon this one at Real Camera in Manchester today. Apparently they only got it in today, too. Here’s hoping this one fairs better than the last.
