**We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.** What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever. When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence. On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us. This a local Indivisible event sponsored by Southern Crescent Indivisible of Georgia. This event is a street protest. Protesters with a variety of signs and flags line up along the sidewalk of a busy street. We wave at drivers, smile at the supportive honks, and talk with fellow protesters. You can bring your own sign (no profanity, please) or borrow one of ours. We provide water but be sure to wear sunscreen and a hat. At our protests, you are among friends, and the atmosphere is friendly and progressive. Southern Cresent Indivisible of Georgia works with 9 counties. We are a diverse, dedicated, and volunteer group of individuals who believe in a real democracy—of, by, and for the people. We are concerned with the impact of recent changes in our government and on the impact to our counties *A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
"The Republican-majority #Georgia House...gave final passage to a bill that would REQUIRE NONPARTISAN ELECTIONS in the five most populous counties in metro #Atlanta."
Metro Atlanta counties that this legislation would affect:
• Fulton
• Clayton
• Cobb
• Dekalb
• Gwinnett
Why?
~Because "Democrats (are) steadily wiping out Republicans" in those counties~

😂👏
I'm laughing at how pathetic they are... all they can do is cheat to win.

Georgia Republicans have passed a bill stripping party labels from most local election races in metro Atlanta’s biggest counties. The GOP-majority Georgia House on Friday gave final passage to the measure. Republican Gov. Brian Kemp hasn't said whether he will sign it into law. The bill mandates nonpartisan elections for district attorneys, county commissioners, and other officials in Fulton, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, and Gwinnett counties. Republicans argue the change would boost civic unity and public safety. Democrats say Republicans want to mask their brand as they lose ground in these counties. The bill would affect Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, repeatedly targeted by Republicans for her prosecution of President Donald Trump.
