This is the first in a series of releases that implement support for new Mastodon features. More will come in the near future, but this version offers:

* Full support for all new types of notifications in Mastodon 4.0, including admin notifications.
* Updated to use more modern versions of various iOS functionality. As a result, however, the minimum supported iOS version is now 13.
* Bugfixes.

Every time I'm on an escalator I think: what would happen if I passed out? Would my body fall down the stairs? Would it lean to the the right or left? I always position myself away from the void, why? Because I'm the kind of overthinker that care about these ridiculous scenarios obviously.

Uber fares are getting ridiculously expensive, if I wanted to spend a humongous amount of money in transportation I would totally buy a car.

A number of people have asked me if I think that governments should run Mastodon instances for citizens. There may be exceptions, but I don't think governments should be in this business, for a variety of reasons.

However, I do think that *Libraries* would be *amazing* hosts for public federated social media communities. Just sayin'.

I think it's glorious that there's now a Mastodon server operated by people who used to work for Twitter (macaw.social). I could have never imagined it when I started in 2016.

Yesterday my little nephew asked for my help with French homework, he couldn't care less about languages, except for English (his native tongue is Spanish, same as mine), it's incredible how much he has picked up from playing videogames (I too picked up a lot of vocabulary by playing Pokémon back in the day when most cartridges were in English).

I've been using Mastodon solely on the mobile app and been only seeing toots from people I follow, but now I'm trying the website and seeing toots from everyone in the server, that's pretty dope, I wish we could have that in the mobile app, or maybe we do and I somehow cannot find it.
