I want to travel using the Norwegian rail company Vy from Bergen, Norway to Malmo, Sweden. They operate lines between all the relevant stations.

However, since they have structured themselves as a Norwegian Vy and a Swedish Vy It's impossible to get a through ticket. I can't even look up their connections, I have to switch countries in the app!

The Norwegian app will not let me buy tickets to Sweden, and the Swedish app does not acknowledge Bergen.

What a fun puzzle.

Has anyone looked into whether it is possible to add the new link for sharing to Mastodon into @obsidian Publish?

I.e. get a link at the top / bottom of whatever post and get a dynamic share of that page to Mastodon.

This month I'm travelling by night train from Sweden to Germany twice! I have a weekend trip to Berlin March 19th, and then I'm going on an Easter holiday March 27th. (Yes, the week after).

I can't wait for some proper train trips.

I've added all my planned train journeys to #Viaduct for the year. If I don't dany more trains after June 7th, 2026 will still be the year I've travelled the furthest distance by rail.

Just got the go-ahead for a software conference for work in June. Meaning... I'll need to order another international train trip!

The conference is in Copenhagen, so it'll be a strecth I'm well-travelled on. Bergen to Copenhagen doesn't even get me down to the main European contintent, after all.

Now to figure out if individual tickets or an #Interrail ticket is the way to go... Interrail comes with a lot of ease-of-mind when it comes to making connections, but it's a straight forward stretch.
